The Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 1 with AMD Ryzen 5 is generally well-regarded for its robust build, excellent keyboard, and strong performance for daily tasks. However, some users note that battery life could be better and the display options might be a bit dated with thick bezels.
“Lenovo's AMD-based ThinkPad T14s offers an excellent keyboard, solid build, good performance and impressive battery life.”
“This 2020 ThinkPad T14s is a refreshed iteration of last year's ThinkPad T490s and I'm mostly OK with this “If it's not broken, don't change it” approach.”
“Performance from this chip is phenomenal under sustained load, but in day-to-day use the target audience is unlikely to notice the difference compared to the latest Core i7-powered Dell XPS 13.”
“It's a plain-looking machine, but don't let the monotonous ThinkPad styling fool you; it is handsomely understated in the flesh and feels excellent in the hand.”
