The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12S is generally well-regarded as a compact, budget-friendly smartphone with a good AMOLED display and a high-resolution main camera. However, some users note its lack of 5G, inconsistent battery performance over time, and a camera that, while high in megapixels, can lose detail when enlarged and struggles in low light.
“The Redmi Note 12S is a compact smartphone with its 6.43-inch screen. It offers a lot of storage and a high-resolution main camera, but you won't find 5G.”
“The main camera in the Redmi Note 12S has a resolution of 108 megapixels... At first glance, the images look sharp, but details become lost when enlarged.”
“According to our users, the 5000mAh battery has inconsistent duration.”
“The main 108MP camera was one of the biggest selling points. In good lighting, it still captures decent shots with sharp details, but in low light or night mode, the photos are just okay.”
